Hi there! My name is Ashley and I am a graphic designer, avid iced coffee drinker, and make the best tortillas you will ever eat.
I graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor's degree in Emerging Media specializing in Graphic Design. My time in school taught me that design is communication, and if you want to say something in a meaningful way, the best way is through visual design. I am passionate about creating with a purpose and designing for progress.
Most recently, I worked as an intern at the Democratic National Committee. During this internship, I had the opportunity to design social graphics, graphic emails, merch, and more during one of the DNC's busiest times, election season. By jumping head-first into this fast-paced industry, I learned to balance the creation of significant and impactful designs with time efficiency for a high pressure audience. I also expanded my knowledge of design, the professional workplace, and working with a team from the amazing group of designers at the DNC. This internship was invaluable in making me the designer I am today.
When not designing, I'm either at a new local food spot, singing along to my favorite Angels and Airwaves songs, or taking my cat for a walk (yes, my cat).
Interested in working with me? Please feel free to shoot me an email and I'll be sure to get back to you as soon as I can. I'm most interested in opportunities with a focus on designing for social impact.
